How to make easy classic Buttercream in minutes

On this new video I will be explaining the steps of making classic american style crusting buttercream. The recipe and the process is so easy, just use twice the amount of butter you want to use for the frosting. This recipe is enough to fill and crumb coat a 6 inch (3 layers) cake.


250gr Unsalted Butter
500gr Silverspoon Icing Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract

Silverspoon is my favourite brand for all kinds of sugar really. Especially the icing sugar is so fine, it is so easy to sift through and just blends right into the butter with none of that gritty feeling...

If you are going to make a Vegan Buttercream version then I suggest you use Tate & Lyle icing sugar.
